We are proud ANKC border collie breeders located in the beautiful Lockyer Valley.
Our goal is to bread beautiful dogs, with excellent temperaments and conformation, who will excel as your loyal friend, obedience champion or sporting buddy.
We have the privilege of building on the ‘Borderstrong’ lines, a kennel that bred exceptional dogs and was home to some of Australia’s earliest lines of border collies.
Our foundation bitch, Taylor (Kolorko Strong Blak Valentine), carries this pedigree and was the inspiration for our kennel prefix: ‘Beaustrong‘. Little did we know that ‘Borderstrong’ owner Des Strong goes by ‘Beau’ to his friends and loved ones. It seems it was meant to be.
Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole…
Our stud dog Marshall joined our family in 2021 (we didn’t know he was a stud then; we just loved him). We brought home ‘Taylor’, our foundation bitch, in August 2024. Our second foundation bitch ‘Gracie’ joins our family in July 2025. Taylor and Gracie will be the start of our breeding program along with our stud dog, Marshall.
We’re ANKC registered breeders and aim to breed exceptional border collies for companionship and adventure. All of our breeding dogs have been DNA tested, hip and elbow scored and are clear of any known health conditions. Puppies will be raised in our home with love and given the best start possible.

Broadmeadow Park adheres to the Animal Welfare Code of Practice – Breeding Cats and Dogs.
Feeding
Our dogs and puppies are fed a mixed diet of 50% dry and 50% raw.
Health
Our dogs are DNA tested and hip + elbow x-rayed to ensure the health of our future puppies.
Training
Border collies require structure, training, socialisation and a high time commitment.
