We are proud breeders of beautiful, strong border collies who will excel as your loyal friend, obedience champion or sporting buddy.

We have the privilege of building on the ‘Borderstrong’ lines, a kennel that bred exceptional dogs and was home to some of Australia’s earliest lines of border collies. Our foundation bitch, Taylor (Kolorko Strong Blak Valentine), carries this pedigree and was the inspiration for our kennel prefix: ‘Beaustrong‘. Little did we know that ‘Borderstrong’ owner Des Strong goes by ‘Beau’ to his friends and loved ones. It seems it was meant to be.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole…

I love border collies. They are the best dogs! My dream is to show, breed, and compete with them.

Our stud dog Marshall joined our family in 2021 (we didn’t know he was a stud then; we just loved him). We brought home ‘Taylor’, our foundation bitch, in August 2024. She will be the start of our breeding program along with our stud dog, Marshall.

We’re an ANKC registered breeder and aim to breed exceptional border collies for companionship and adventure. All of our breeding dogs have been DNA tested, hip and elbow scored and are clear of any known health conditions.
