We are ANKC border collie breeders located in the beautiful Lockyer Valley.
We’re new border collie exhibitors and breeders, and grateful to be involved with this beautiful, strong breed. We look forward to breeding confident, healthy, well-put-together dogs that will excel as your loyal friend, obedience champion or sporting buddy. Our goal is to breed for conformation, sporting ability and companionship.
Our foundation bitch, Taylor (Kolorko Strong Blak Valentine), carries the ‘Borderstrong’ lines, a kennel that bred exceptional dogs, was home to some of Australia’s earliest border collie lines, and was the inspiration for our kennel prefix: ‘Beaustrong‘. Little did we know that ‘Borderstrong’ owner Des Strong goes by ‘Beau’ to his friends and loved ones. It seems it was meant to be.
Our stud dog Marshall (Bidgeesrun Guccis Gift Marshall) comes from quality sporting dog lines and a great pedigree. He is a third-generation flyball dog. He picked up a full run in 3 weeks; it’s like it runs in his veins! We look forward to seeing the puppies he produces; they will be perfect for anyone looking for their next sporting champ!
Gracie (Shancris Amazing Grace), our beautiful red head, joined us in 2025 and is showing great promise in the show ring. We’re enjoying the process of learning to show together and I look forward to many years of showing dogs and hope that one day we can breed our own Australian champion.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole…
Our dogs are part of the family and they spend most of their days with us, accompanying us out and about whenever possible and bring us so much joy. We enjoy flyball, obedience, and conformation showing.
All of our breeding dogs have been DNA tested, hip and elbow scored and are clear of any known health conditions. Puppies will be raised in our home with love and given the best start possible.
Our inaugural litter (Marshall & Taylor – The “Reputation” Litter) will be due to go home to their families in mid-2026!

Beaustrong Border Collies adheres to the Animal Welfare Code of Practice – Breeding Cats and Dogs.
Feeding
Our dogs and puppies are fed a mixed diet of 50% dry and 50% raw food.
Health
Our dogs are DNA tested and hip + elbow x-rayed to ensure the health of our future puppies.
Training
Border collies require routines, training, socialisation and a high time commitment.
